Coro Salinas

Academy Choir is an advanced group of girls in grades six through eight. Emphasis is placed on performing a wide variety of literature from many genres in two and three parts.

Objectives include:

• Continued emphasis on correct vocal production, diction, and tone quality
• Continued growth in music reading skills
• Encouragement of solo singing in order to nurture confidence in musical and personal abilities

All instruction is held in a demanding but positive atmosphere. Choir members are invited to take risks and enjoy successes.  Directed by Dr. Salinas.

The Academy Choir rehearses on Mondays from 7: 20 to 9:00 pm.

Coro Salinas is named in memory of Horacio Salinas.  It is our top performing group and consists of girls grades 9-12.  They perform a wide variety of music in a numerous styles.   Directed by Dr. Salinas.

Coro Salinas rehearses on Tuesdays from 7:20 pm-9:00 pm.
