Meet Bethlehem

Meet Bethlehem Shekanena, a 2020 graduate of The Potter's House in GR and currently attending GRCC. Originally from Colorado, Bethlehem moved to Michigan in 2008. 

 

She attended The Potter's House from 3rd-12th grade and is pursuing a psychology and childhood development degree to become either a child counselor or therapist. 

 

As of right now, she is summer interning at Grand Rapids Girls Choral Academy through GRCC's first ever U of M LSA Transfer Bridges Culture Corps Program. She was drawn to this program because of her love for children, singing and music.

 

Through this internship, she plans to become well versed in social media content creation and marketing as well as general execution of proper event planning.
