Training at the Girls Choral Academy in the discipline of choral singing challenges each girl to work hard, contribute to the good of the greater whole, and discover their full potential. The Girls Choral Academy promotes the self-confidence necessary to continue the journey toward a successful adulthood.

Choirs are basically large families, and singing in them promotes social bonding, which contributes to a sense of belonging and joy. Studies have found that group singing fosters trust, cooperation and social cohesion. Research led by psychologist Nick Stewart of Bath University indicates that people who participate in a choir enjoy a greater feeling of togetherness, lower levels of depression and being part of a collective endeavor with a shared purpose!
