On Friday night, a cold and dreary February 16, balloons and decorations brightened up the Chavez Elementary School gymnasium as we welcomed choristers and their families to GCA's first ever BELLE OF THE BALL DANCE PARTY! Girls from all GCA choirs came together at Chavez decked out in party close with parents and siblings in tow to enjoy some social time meeting newest families and hitting the dance floor and enjoy the great grooves our DJ was playing! What a ball they had! Who knew the girls possessed the natural talents to sing AND dance? Thank you to the staff of GRPS, Cesar Chavez Elementary School, the GCA staff and especially PJ Da DJ (www.pjdadj.com) who provided incredible music that was perfect for this event!
The girls and families danced "until our feet hurt!" & PJ Da DJ allowed the kids to line up and select songs on his laptop, which was really fun. Some oldies but goodies brought a lot of parents to their feet. All agreed "We HAVE to do this again!"
